What can STEMA supply?
We can offer oxygen cleaning with a cleaning certificate for specified Bonded Seals / Dowty seals on request. Cleaning to ASTM G93 Level B has been offered for FKM / AISI 316. Other sizes and material combinations are assessed individually.
Cleanliness inspection and cleaning certificate
Cleanliness level, standard edition, cleaning process and inspection method are agreed for the particular supply. Previous offers included visual inspection or extraction testing and a cleaning certificate. This certificate documents cleaning; any EN 10204 3.1 material documentation is a separate requirement.
Packaging to preserve cleanliness
Post-cleaning packaging forms part of the agreed specification. Individual packaging can be offered at additional cost. Bulk packaging must be assessed against cleanliness and particle requirements. Previous offers included immediate packaging after cleaning, without a cleanroom.
Material selection and oxygen-service suitability
Oxygen cleaning is a cleaning process, not blanket oxygen-service approval. Elastomer, metal, seal geometry and operating conditions must be assessed for the application. EPDM Bonded Seals and oxygen cleaning are separate supply options; any combination requires specific confirmation.
